AUSTIN, TX – A male teen driver died on Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision along a busy roadway in east-central Austin.
According to CBS Austin, the accident happened around 8:14 a.m. in the area of Decker Lane and Lindell Lane, which is just north of the Louis Rene Barrera Indiangrass Wildlife Sanctuary.
The investigation thus far indicates that the driver lost control his northbound 2011 Toyota and crashed into a 2014 Chevrolet pickup in the southbound lane.
The teen driver of the Toyota died after transport to the hospital.
It’s not yet clear if anyone else sustained injuries in the accident.
