AUSTIN, TX – Three people were seriously injured in a head-on collision in southwest Austin on Tuesday evening.

According to a report by KXAN, two vehicles collided in the 7700 block of TX-71 near the intersection with US-280.

One person was pinned inside their vehicle as a result of the crash. That individual was extricated and rushed to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center in critical condition.

Two other individuals were also hospitalized with serious injuries.
