AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained serious injuries early Tuesday morning in a crash along the 290 service road in east Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened around 3:40 a.m. in the area of 9475 East US-290 along the eastbound service road. This is just west of Giles Lane and north of Old Manor Road.

Authorities haven’t disclosed the number of vehicles involved or the cause of the crash. 

Medics transported one person as a trauma alert to Dell Seton Medical Center. It’s unclear if anyone else was hurt in the crash.

Drivers likely encountered delays along the service road in the area of the accident while crews worked at the scene.
