AUSTIN, TX – A multi-vehicle accident along the highway in northwest Austin injured three people on Monday, reports CBS Austin.

The incident happened around 4:26 p.m. on the southbound ramp from TX-360, or North Capital of Texas Highway, to Research Boulevard. This is just west of the Gateway Shopping Centers.

Police say the crash involved four vehicles total. It’s not yet clear what caused the accident.

One person went to Dell-Seton Medical Center with serious injuries. Two others were hospitalized in Round Rock with non-critical injuries.

Drivers encountered delays along the southbound ramp from TX-360 to Research Boulevard while crews worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
