CEDAR PARK, TX – A two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in Cedar Park sent one person so the hospital on Monday, reports CBS Austin.
Emergency teams reported to the intersection of Cypress Creek and Anderson Mill Road at 10:31 a.m. This is just south of Summit Christian Academy and southwest of Milburn Park.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the accident. Police say that one person became entrapped in their vehicle and required extrication. That person sustained non-critical injuries and went to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.
None of the other seven people involved in the collision required hospitalization.
Officials closed all westbound lanes of Anderson Mill and all but one eastbound lane while crews worked to clear the scene.
