MUSTANG RIDGE, TX – More than two people were hurt Tuesday morning in a major rollover collision in south-central Travis County.
According to MYSA, the incident occurred sometime before 8 a.m. on the northbound side of Highway 183 at TX-130. This is on the north side of Mustang Ridge, which is a suburb just south of Austin.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the circumstances of the accident except to say that it was likely caused by icy road conditions.
Photos taken at the scene show a dark-colored vehicle overturned along the side of the highway. It’s unclear how many other vehicles may have been involved the crash.
While officials have referenced multiple injuries, they’ve not disclosed any further information regarding the severity of those injuries.
Drivers encountered delays in the area of the crash until just before 11 a.m. while crews worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
