ROUND ROCK, TX – A major crash with injuries blocked the frontage road of the interstate near Round Rock Premium Outlets Tuesday.

According to KXAN, the incident occurred some time before 10:53 a.m. on the southbound side of the interstate between Westinghouse Road and RM 1431.

While police have confirmed that at least one person sustained injuries, they have not commented on the cause of the accident or the number of vehicles involved.

The frontage road remained closed until just before 3:30 p.m. while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
