KILLEEN, TX – A 41-year-woman died on Tuesday morning after losing control of her vehicle and crashing along a busy Killeen roadway, reports 6 News.
The incident happened around 10:15 a.m. in the area of 200 West Stan Schlueter Loop, which is just east of Reeces Creek Elementary School.
The investigation thus far indicates that the westbound driver of a Lexus NX 350 left the roadway after losing control of her speeding vehicle. The Lexus overturned several times, throwing the unrestrained driver from the vehicle.
Medics airlifted the driver to a local hospital where she died from injuries sustained in the accident.
Authorities identified the victim as Amanda Elizabeth Love.
The investigation is ongoing.
