LEANDER, TX – Emergency teams responded to a major accident on the west side of Leander on Friday night, reports CBS Austin.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at County Road 290 and Hero Way West, which is north of Hidden Mesa and southwest of Devine Lake Park.

There’s no word yet from police regarding the cause of the crash, injuries, or the number of vehicles involved.

Authorities say the wreck blocked the intersection Friday while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
