WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — A Liberty Hill ISD school bus caused a two-car crash Wednesday afternoon in the Lively Ranch area, according to KXAN.
The incident occurred on a stretch of Texas Highway 29 approaching Lively Ranch Road.
A witness said she saw the bus driver make an abrupt turn at an intersection and then pull out in front of multiple oncoming cars. The move prompted an oncoming truck to brake hard, causing a Ford Expedition to rear-end the truck and catch fire.
All occupants of the Ford were able to exit the vehicle safely. As of this writing, no injuries have been reported.
Concerned parents contacted the transportation department Thursday, but there have been no reports of disciplinary action against the bus driver.
