AUSTIN, TX – A major crash along the service road to the interstate in central Austin sent three people to the hospital Friday, reports KXAN.

The incident happened just before 7 p.m. in the area of 5000 North IH-35, which is between Barbara Jordan Boulevard and East 51st Street. 

Police have not yet shared any details about the circumstances of the accident except to say that one person sustained serious injuries.

Medics transported all three victims to Dell Seton Medical Center.
