AUSTIN, TX – Police in Austin have made an arrest following a deadly crash involving a pedestrian, Fox 7 Austin reports.
Officers responded to the incident May 22 in the 7300 block of McNeil Drive in Northwest Austin at about 8:40 p.m. A 66-year-old male pedestrian was hit by a Chevrolet Impala.
Police say the driver of the vehicle was 40-year-old Adrian Thomas, who has now been arrested and charged with DWI.
Anyone with further information about the crash was asked to contact vehicular homicide unit detectives at the Austin Police Department.
