AUSTIN, TX – An 18-year-old died Saturday in a motorcycle accident along a major roadway in central Austin, reports CBS Austin.

The crash happened just after 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of East Anderson Lane westbound and I-35. This is just north of the St. John’s area.

It’s still unclear what may have caused the wreck, nor have police indicated if any other vehicles were involved.

Authorities pronounced the motorcyclist, identified as Ronny Perez, deceased at the scene.
