AUSTIN, TX – A 51-year-old man died Sunday morning after his vehicle crashed along the freeway in southwest Austin, reports KXAN.

Police say the incident happened around 4:32 a.m. in the 11700 block of South MoPac Expressway, which is just south of Circle C Ranch in South Austin.

Authorities are not sure what caused the accident but say the victim’s vehicle overturned after hitting a guardrail.

Response crews performed CPR, but the victim, identified as Darren Webb, died at the scene of the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
