AUSTIN, TX – Police in Austin have released details regarding a deadly motorcycle accident last week, according to KXAN.
The accident happened June 12 in the vicinity of Capitol of Texas Highway and Westbank Drive at about 8:15 a.m. Police said 35-year-old Joseph Cable Barnes was riding a motorcycle when he went through a red light and crashed into a Toyota Avalon.
Barnes died at the scene, while the Toyota driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
Anyone with information about the accident, Austin’s 50 traffic crash this year, was asked to contact the Austin Police Department.
