AUSTIN, TX — A 24-year-old man died last Friday evening after a motorcycle accident in central Austin’s Bouldin Creek area, according to City of Austin.
The crash happened in the 1100 block of South Congress Avenue on November 5 shortly before 7:32 p.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates the man was riding a motorcycle northbound on the road when he collided with a blue Kia turning left at an intersection.
The rider died from his injuries at the scene shortly after, confirmed Austin Police Department.
The driver of the Kia stayed after the crash and cooperated with authorities.
An investigation into the fatal accident remains ongoing.
