AUSTIN, TX — A man in his early 30s was killed Sunday night after his motorcycle collided into the back of a pickup truck on Interstate 35 in north Austin, according to CBS Austin.
The fatal collision took place in northbound lanes of the 13300 block just south of Howard Lane at approximately 11:15 p.m.
An early investigation found that both vehicles were heading northbound on I-35 when the motorcyclist struck the rear of the pickup truck.
Austin police said officers arrived to discover the rider deceased at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck stayed behind and cooperated with authorities. As of Monday, no charges have been filed against the driver.
