AUSTIN, TX – A motorcyclist went to the hospital last Friday afternoon after he left the roadway and crashed his bike in South Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened sometime before 2:46 p.m. near the intersection of Rhett Place and Asa Drive, which is just north of Palm Elementary School and east of Onion Creek.
Officials reported that the motorcyclist veered off of the roadway and crashed into a fence. Emergency crews performed CPR at the scene and transported the motorcyclist to the hospital on a trauma alert.
A full investigation is underway.
