AUSTIN, TX – A motorcycle rider went to the hospital last Friday with serious injuries after losing control of their bike and hitting a building in downtown Austin, reports KVUE.
The incident happened on February 10th around 2:30 a.m. on East 6th Street between Red River and Sabine Streets.
Police say the motorcyclist crashed into the former home of the Texas Lottery Commission at 611 East 6th Street.
The collision caused damage to several windows, and the motorcyclist sustained critical injuries.
It’s still unclear what caused the motorcyclist to crash. A full investigation is underway.
