AUSTIN, TX – Medics transported one person to the hospital Wednesday night after a serious motorcycle accident along the highway in east Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened on West US 290 Highway near the intersection with Springdale Road, which is just north of Big Walnut Creek Nature Preserve.
At this time, it’s unclear what caused the accident and if any other vehicles were involved.
One person went to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
