AUSTIN, TX – A motorcyclist died on Sunday afternoon after a major crash on a busy roadway in southwest Austin, reports KVUE.
The incident happened around 4:45 p.m. near the intersection of South Pleasant Valley Road and East William Cannon Drive, which is just northwest of the Onion Creek Soccer Complex.
Police have not shared any other details about the accident except to say that medics attempted CPR at the scene but ultimately pronounced the victim deceased. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Officials encouraged motorists to avoid the area and to pursue alternate routes.
