BURNET COUNTY, TX — A 52-year-old man died Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 281 north of Marble Falls, reports Daily Trib.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes of the highway south of Park Road 4 South at around 11:00 a.m.
Authorities said the driver of another vehicle was going north when they attempted to turn around to help a disable motorist along the shoulder. The vehicle turned directly in the path of the northbound motorcyclist, who struck the left side of the vehicle’s left side.
The rider was ejected from his bike and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No further information has been released regarding any charges against the causing driver.
