AUSTIN, TX – Emergency services responded to a fatal motorcycle collision on Southwest Parkway early on Wednesday morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
The collision occurred at around 8:01 AM in the 10601-10817 block of Southwest Parkway, just west of Barton Creek Boulevard.

ATCEMS later confirmed that the patient, an unidentified adult, had been pronounced dead at the scene. No other details about the patient were immediately available.
Authorities have warned of extended road closures in the area and advised motorists to seek alternate routes. Traffic delays are expected as a result of the incident.
