TRAVIS COUNTY, TX — One person died Monday evening after a motorcycle accident involving another vehicle in northeast Lakeway, reports CBS Austin.

The collision occurred in the 15000 block of Debba Drive, just east of Ranch to Market Road 620, at around 2:00 p.m.

It was unclear what led up to the crash, but Austin-Travis County EMS said the motorcycle rider died from their injuries at the scene.

Motorists were asked to detour around the area during the emergency response.

No further information was released, but an investigation was underway.
