AUSTIN, TX – Medics transported a teen and one adult to area hospitals after a collision involving multiple vehicles along a highway in South Austin, reports KXAN.
The incident happened at 12:51 p.m. on the service road for the South Capital of Texas Highway, near the intersection with South Lamar.
The cause of the accident is still unclear. Police say that one of the involved vehicles flipped onto its side, entrapping two people.
Three people sustained injuries in the accident, but one person declined transport to the hospital. The other two sustained serious injuries and were declared trauma alerts.
A full investigation is underway.
