AUSTIN, TX – Two people went to the hospital Wednesday morning after a multi-vehicle crash along a major roadway in west Austin, reports ATCEMS and Austin Fire Info.

The accident happened sometime before 6:39 a.m. in the area of 11100 RM 2222, which is just southeast of North FM 620 and north of Bonaventure Drive.
Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the accident. They say at least one person became pinned in their vehicle and required extrication.
Medics transported two adults to St. David’s Round Rock with critical injuries. A third patient did not require hospitalization.
Officials asked drivers to avoid this portion of FM 2222 while medics attended to the injured parties, and crews worked to clear the wreckage.
