AUSTIN, TX – A Union Pacific Train collided with a stalled vehicle at a railroad crossing in northwest Austin early Tuesday morning, reports KXAN .
Police say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. at the crossing located in the vicinity of 4200 Duval Road, which is northwest of Mopac Expressway.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle stalled on the tracks at the railroad crossing on Duval. The occupants of the car exited to safety before the train collided with their vehicle.
Nobody was injured in the crash.
Authorities say that they were able to clear the scene by around 3:30 a.m.
