AUSTIN, TX – Emergency crews responded last Tuesday afternoon to a fatality rollover crash at a busy intersection in northwest Austin, reports CBS Austin.

The incident happened at 1:54 p.m. in the Anderson Mill West area at the intersection of El Salido Parkway and North FM 620 Road. This is just southwest of Lakeline Mall.

Police haven’t yet shared any details about the cause of the accident. They say that at least one vehicle overturned and ejected at least one person.

EMS performed CPR at the scene, but one person died from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.

Medics transported a second person to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

Officials closed the northbound lanes of FM 620 while crews worked at the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
