TRAVIS COUNTY, TX  — One person died Sunday after a rollover crash that hospitalized another on Farm to Market Road 812 near Mustang Ridge, according to FOX 7 Austin.

The accident took place on a stretch of FM-812 between the areas of Mustang Ridge and Cedar Creek in the afternoon.

Medics responded the scene and administered life-saving measures on the victims, but one person succumbed to their injuries.

The other victim was transported by airlift to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was listed in critical condition.

Authorities closed the road for multiple hours as crews worked to clear the area.

An investigation was underway.
