AUSTIN, TX – Officials with Austin-Travis County emergency services responded to a bicycle vs vehicle collision that left one dead in North Austin Wednesday night.
According to CBS Austin, the accident happened on a Highway 183 northbound service road at its intersection with Lake Creek Parkway, shortly before 10:30 p.m.
Paramedics pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene of the crash. Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the collision have not yet been released.
No charges have been filed against the driver involved as of Thursday afternoon.
