AUSTIN, TX — One person died Sunday afternoon after a two-car crash that hurt two others near Circuit of the Americas in southeast Austin, according to KVUE ABC.
The accident happened between the 11300-12509 area of Farm to Market 812 Road at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Few details have been reported on the events leading up to the crash, but two vehicles collided, causing one vehicle to overturn and catch fire.
Authorities confirmed one person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An occupant from one of the vehicles was able to self-extricate. They were then able to pull out a second occupant with the help of a bystander before fire crews arrived.
Two of those victims were transported to a St. David’s South Hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
