AUSTIN, TX — One person died Sunday morning after a two-vehicle crash that injured two others in southeast Austin’s Franklin Park area, reports KXAN.
Austin Fire crews responded to the scene in the 5500 block of Nuckols Crossing Road shortly after 7:00 a.m.
Few details have been made reported at this time, but firefighters had to perform a rescue extrication.
Austin-Travis County EMS said one person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two other victims were rushed to a nearby hospital. According to EMS, one person suffered critical, life-threatening injuries, and another sustained potentially serious injuries.
