AUSTIN, TX — A pedestrian was critically injured early Tuesday after being struck by a vehicle near the North Lamar area in north Austin, according to KVUE ABC.
The collision occurred on Rundberg Lane at the North Creek Drive intersection shortly before 4:00 a.m.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center.
The involved driver fled the scene.
By 4:30 a.m., all westbound lanes of Rundberg Lane in the area were shut down as an investigation was conducted.
