AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained critical injuries after they were struck by a driver in west Austin Friday night.

According to CBS Austin, the pedestrian was struck in the 2900 block of N. FM 620 across from Lariat Trail around 9 p.m.

They were rushed to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The driver remained on the scene to speak with authorities. An investigation is underway.
