AUSTIN, TX – Police are investigating an accident that killed a pedestrian just west of I-35 in North Austin on Monday, KVUE reports.

EMS says the accident happened around midnight on Chevy Chase Drive near Anderson Lane, which is south of U.S. Highway 183.

Crews responded to an emergency call and performed CPR, but the victim died at the scene.
