AUSTIN, TX – A man died in the hospital days after a hit-and-run crash in South Austin last week reports KVUE.

46-year-old Terry Ziegler Jr. was struck by a driver at the 5600 block of West Gate Boulevard near Stassyney Lane on March 14.

He was rushed to an area hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries on March 22.

Authorities are searching for a suspect in the fatal hit-and-run. The vehicle involved was described as a red sedan sports car.
