AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died Sunday from injuries sustained when a vehicle struck them in Southeast Austin last Thursday.
According to KXAN, the incident happened around 1:50 p.m. in the area of 2300 Grove Boulevard, which runs between East Riverside Drive and Montopolis Drive.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the accident except to say that the driver involved in the crash did remain at the scene to render aid and answer questions.
Medics transported the pedestrian to a local hospital, where they died three days later.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity to the public.
