AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed when they were hit by a car in east Austin on Saturday night.

The accident occurred around 10:20 p.m. in the 1800 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard service road northbound near the intersection with Smith Road, reports CBS Austin.

First responders pronounced the adult pedestrian dead at the scene.
