AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian has been hospitalized after they were struck by a vehicle in north Austin Friday evening, reports CBS Austin.

The collision occurred in the southbound lanes of North I-35 between Riverside and East Cesar Chavez just before 8 p.m. Friday evening. One person was rushed to Dell Seton hospital with serious injuries that were non-life-threatening.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
