AUSTIN, TX – A person was injured after being hit by a driver in downtown Austin Friday evening reports the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The collision happened around 5:45 p.m. at 500 E 7th Street which is on the corner of Neches Street. Emergency crews transported an unidentified person to Dell Seton Medical Center as a trauma alert patient.
