AUSTIN, TX – A person was hospitalized when they were struck by a car in a central Austin hotel parking lot early Wednesday morning.

First responders were on the scene around 2:40 a.m. at a Super 8 hotel parking lot in the 5500 block of N I-35, reports CBS Austin.

The victim was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center for serious injuries. 

It isn’t clear whether the driver fled the scene or not. Further details have not been provided at this time.
