AUSTIN, TX – A person was hospitalized after they were hit by a Capital Metro transit bus in south Austin Wednesday evening.

The person was struck by the bus on South Congress near Krebs Lane around 7:45 p.m. reports Fox7.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
