LAKEWAY, TX – A pedestrian was pronounced dead after they were hit by a car on FM 620 this past Sunday night.

Around 6:45 p.m. emergency personnel responded to the scene at FM 620 and Clara Van Street near Lakeway City Park, reports KXAN.

The person succumbed to their injuries on the scene. It is unclear whether the driver fled or stayed and cooperated with the police.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
