AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian went to the hospital Saturday night after a vehicle struck them at a busy north Austin intersection, reports Fox 7 Austin.
The incident happened around 7:50 p.m. at the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and Rutland Drive, which is just southeast of Quail Creek.
Police say the pedestrian sustained critical injuries and went to Dell Seton Medical Center on a trauma alert.
It’s not clear if the vehicle involved in the accident stopped to render aid and speak with authorities.
