AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died Saturday when a vehicle hit them along a busy roadway in the McKinney area of southeast Austin.
According to KXAN, the incident happened just before 2 a.m. in the area of 4900 Burleson Road, which is near the intersection with Drossett Drive.
Police say the pedestrian died at the scene. It’s unclear whether the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene to render aid and speak with officials.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
