AUSTIN, TX – One person died late Saturday night after a vehicle struck them at a busy intersection in north-central Austin, reports KXAN. 

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m.in the area of North Lamar Boulevard and West Longspur Boulevard, which is west of I-35 and north of Rundberg Lane.

Details regarding the accident are still limited, and authorities have not yet released the name of the victim to the public.

Additionally, it’s unclear if the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene to render aid and speak with authorities.
