AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died on Tuesday morning after a vehicle struck them in the roadway in downtown Austin, reports Fox 7 Austin.
The incident happened just after 8 a.m. on North Lamar Boulevard between 11th and 12th Streets, which is just northwest of the Duncan Neighborhood Park.
Authorities say that the pedestrian died at the scene of the incident. They have not yet publicly identified the victim, nor have they indicated whether or not the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
