AUSTIN, TX – Police have released the identity of the woman who died Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in north Austin.

According to CBS Austin, 30-year-old Samantha Spears sustained fatal injuries when her motorcycle collided with an SUV at West Parmer Lane and McNeil Drive at 9:57 p.m.

There’s still no word regarding what caused the motorcycle and the SUV to crash.

Authorities declared Spears deceased at the scene of the accident.

No other injuries have been cited in connection to the crash.

Officials asked drivers to anticipate delays in the area of the collision while crews worked at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
