Police issued a news release on the accident that took place June 26 in the area of South Congress Avenue and Alpine Road in south Austin at 3:20 p.m.
Investigators said the driver of a Jeep Gladiator was making a left turn onto Alpine Road and turned in front of a motorcycle driven by 51-year-old Mitchell Lesley Pitman.
