SCHULENBURG, TX – Crews responded to a crash involving an 18-wheeler on FM 2238 in southeast Fayette County Wednesday, reports Fox 7 Austin.

The incident happened before 7 a.m. under the I-10 overpass in Schulenburg, which is just north of Engle.

At this time, it’s unclear if any other vehicles were involved in the accident any if anyone was hurt.

Photos taken at the scene indicate that the semi rolled on its side after crashing into a guardrail.

Officials say the crash closed FM 2238 while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
